Description

The Lowest indicator returns the minimum of the input time series over the lookback period of time defined by the current value of the Lookback period time series. Thus, the lookback period is a variable, not a constant (as in the case of the Minimum indicator found in the Basic indicator category), and may dynamically adjust across the chart.

The Lowest indicator along with the Highest indicator can be employed to create channel breakout trading systems such as the one demonstrated by Example 4 - Swiss Franc Futures Channel Breakout system.
